Pictorial Assembly Guide for partially assembled CB030

Introduction

CB030 is available as partially assembled pc board where all the surface mount components are soldered and the CPLD is programmed. This pictorial guide show how the remaining through-hole components are assembled step-by-step.

This is the partially assembled CB030, component side and solder side. This is the starting point of the pictorial assembly guide.

Add IC sockets

Add discrete capacitors and resistors. Note location of pin 1 of the SIP resistor

Add connector and headers.

Finally, add the SIMM72 socket and Compact Flash adapter. Note the pin 1 of SIMM72 socket
