The sequence of soldering is start from the lowest height components to the tallest components. This keeps the components pressed against the pc board as the soldering progress.

Resistors, SIP resistor and bypass capacitors are soldered first.

Two IC under the RAM, 74ALS138 and 74LS32 are soldered directly to the pc board. 1.8432MHz baud rate oscillator is also soldered directly to pc board.

IC sockets are soldered next.

Serial connector and RC2014 bus are soldered next.

CR1220 battery holder and reset push button are soldered next.

Jumper headers are next.

Socket for Z280, power jack 2.1mm x 5.5mm and voltage supervisor are next

Compact flash adapter is soldered last
