The SBC is the primary component of a home brew computer.  It can operate as a stand alone single board computer or as an ECB bus controller.

The SBC contains

4 MHz Z80 CPU

512KB SRAM

1MB EPROM

16C550 UART serial port

8255 PPI parallel port

DS1302 RTC

The SBC can draw power from a 5V regulated source like scrap AT/ATX power supply or from the ECB bus backplane.
