The purpose of the SBC V2 Baseline firmware is to completely address the hardware that is present on a standard N8VEM ECB SBC V2. That includes RamDisk, RomDisk, Serial Console, Parallel port.
Things that can be done to make the baseline version nice include having the right collection of programs and files included in the RomDisk. I believe it should include all the normally present files in a DRI CP/M-80 2.2 Release Disk, and additionally the normal DRI language tools, asm, load, mac, rmac, link, lib, xref, and an editor that is usable. Basic is popular as well. XModem and or Kermit, Move-it...
Once we have this properly specified, we can create enhanced versions which include modular support for additional hardware devices such as PPIDE, or additional ECB board in a backplane.
